Where did you first hear of AMP

I first saw AMP at the 10 years show at The Rock in Woodbury Minnesota last April. After that we saw them at Warped Tour in Agusut ( after I had fallen in love with their music over the summer) ...and than the guys got us in to see them at the Chevelle concert (once again at The Rock) since it was sold out. I have been hooked on promoting and getting the word out since than ! Their music has helped me through a lot and I want them to have such great success because they truly deserve it !

Ah I remember it like it was yesterday! Last November, one of my best friends from high school and I went to see Papa Roach at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay right after Thanksgiving. AMP was amazing on stage- full of energy. Then, I saw them afterwards on the casino floor and the guys were super friendly. I bought my CD from Jason and got all the band members to sign it. Little did I know this would become my new obsession!!! I love this band and know they are going to to big things soon.

I first heard of AMP in Lubbock TX @ X-Fest. You guys were AMAZING! Beyond the fact that the music is outstanding, it's awesome to see that you care about your fans & music enough to actually interact with us. I'm lovin it...can't wait to meet up with you guys again - in Lubbock, or somewhere down the road :) Hey...I'd be down for being an AMP'd Groupie

Also heard them first on 89x, 'take me home' gets quite a bit of play - great station if anyone else is ever in the Windsor/Detroit area

Oups LOL seems i had forgotten to post on this tread XD
Well i discovered the band coz of friends of mine last December.
They were doing a road trip for the 30 seconds to mars pre-tour and AMP was touring with 30. So... the GIRLS OF CHAOS called me on the phone, and twitted me, and bugged me, till i took a listen to the band on youtube LOL. I really liked what i heard. Was totally hooked on SCREAM FOR YOU. Then i saw the funny vids : the dancing in gaz stations and the Walmart sword fighting...things like that.Think that s REALLY when i fell in love with the band LOL I m just a sucker for people that can have fun and dont care what others may think of them. I m all for people that can and want to have fun. And i must really mention their energy levels on stage seems phenomenal!!
So far i havent had the pleasure to see the band Live. Thing i will resolve on the 10th of July at Warped Tour Montréal. Too bad i dont get a full fledge AMP show. But since i m at the other end of the world...it was that or nothing XD. I even had to get Mimi (a friend from Cali) to buy me the CD for my b-day. Searched 3 stores here..didnt find it. I had already bought it on iTunes...but i prefer real CDs. Hope i can make the guys sign my special AMP pass or the CD this summer. Looking forward to the merch booth too,coz so far...here in canada..AMP merch couldnt be found LOL

i first saw them last november on tour w/ papa roach. I had heard their music before but had never seen them live. Since then ive seen them 2 more times and plan to see them a few more times at warped this summer. They are always a pleasure to take pictures of because theres so much energy and never the same experience.

I first saw them @ Herman's Hideway in Denver on Cinco De Mayo 2007 opening for another band. Loved both bands so much I travelled to a hole in the wall in Colorado Springs the next night to see them play again. I've seen them in various other dive bars, bigger venues, quaint clubs, and one storage locker, every time they've hit Colorado since then. And a few shows sprinkled out in other states.

The first time I heard their songs was like a month ago... more or less. Quite new to me, and all this is thanks to Sadistic whom I know from the 30 Seconds To Mars board. She's done a right promo and I happen to love AMP!
The melodies and the songs are so beautiful. I keep on singing it, but now I have to try to find the CD... in France, they're not really known... too bad but I've done some promo around me!
I really hope to see AMP in live soon! Must be awesome to see the band on stage!!

I first listened to them on Purevolume because it said one of their songs was free to download. They sounded amazing so I bought their music off of itunes.
Then I saw them last year on Warped Tour and they blew my mind. That's when they became my favorite band. They also did a small show in RI and were super-nice, Jason even recognized me from Warped which amazed my friend =] I can't wait to see them again this summer.

I first heard "take me home" when Itunes gave out the '09 warped tour sampler for free, and I fell in love with the music. Then I found them again on Pandora, and was exstatic to hear songs I hadn't already had, now I just wish I could buy the becoming ep and everything would be right with the world.

"Take Me Home" was on the Warped '09 CD
but I didnt really start listening/heard all their songs til this year
it's weird caz "Take Me Home" was the song on the Warped cd i listened to most throughout the yr, but didnt check them out further, but glad i did!

I actually just heard of AMP about 2-3 weeks before the MN Warped Tour. One of the teamers from Apple Valley asked me to help with Capitol Records (who we both do promoting for) at the show and help with AMP as well.
They played a few songs for me and honestly... first impression was.. meh.. It's not awful I 'spose.
Then Warped came.
These guys seriously had some of the best energy on stage and some damn rockin' tunes. They really captivate you and draw you in. If you aren't standing up there waiting for the show to start, they'll drag your arse off the ground and make you get up and join in the fun. Then I got the opportunity to check out an acoustic set and my respect was pretty much cemented. Talent and good looks.. can't beat that combination.
I'm so glad I decided to give them a shot. What a great group of guys! Being a person who does a lot of promoting, I appreciate the fact they have such interaction with their fans. That's how you can tell quality from quantity. Anyone can thrash on a guitar.. scream into a mic.. and wail on some drums.. but not everyone has full.. raw... talent.

I love promoting AMP any way i can. They are SO worth it. Even more when you see them on stage...energy = amazing and through the roof!! =D
